In 2024, Theis Nordahl founded a company in Estonia with a blunt premise: merchants are being overcharged, and most of them don't even know it. Payment processors hide their margins inside blended rates — a merchant paying “1.85% + €0.25” has no idea how much the processor actually keeps. That's not an accident. It's a business model.
The company launched as NoPayn OÜ with a mission to make every fee visible. The pricing model was IC++ (Interchange Plus Plus) from day one — the same wholesale model used between banks, now available to every merchant. Interchange goes to the bank. Scheme fees go to the card network. And our markup? It's flat, published, and the same for everyone.

The rebrand to Cost+ sharpened the identity to match the mission. The name is a direct reference to cost-plus pricing — because that's literally what we do. No blending. No bundling. No tricks. Just the cost, plus our margin, fully visible on every single transaction.
