Does Cost+ support Apple Pay?
Yes. Cost+ supports Apple Pay through its hosted checkout and API when the method is enabled for your merchant account. Customers pay with an eligible card in Apple Wallet.
Does Apple Pay cost extra through Cost+?
Cost+ adds no separate Apple Pay surcharge. The underlying card is charged under your chosen processing plan; Amex follows its separate rate. Any applicable platform charges still apply.
How does Apple Pay improve checkout conversion?
Apple Pay lets customers use saved payment details and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID or their device passcode instead of typing card details. This can simplify checkout; any improvement in completed purchases depends on your customers and checkout.
Is Apple Pay secure through Cost+?
Apple Pay uses a device-specific payment token and a transaction-specific security code instead of sharing the original card number with your shop. The customer authorizes the payment on a compatible device using Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode. Apple Pay
Which Cost+ integrations support Apple Pay?
Use Cost+’s hosted checkout or API. Shopify’s payment-app rules do not allow Cost+ to offer Apple Pay on Shopify. For WooCommerce, Magento and other platforms, support depends on the plugin’s version and supported payment methods, as well as your merchant configuration.
